About me!

I am a female student attending the University of Central Oklahoma seeking a degree in elementary education. I have a love for children and am so excited about becoming a teacher and making a difference in our youths life. I have a beautiful daughter who is my life. She is right now at the age where she is soaking every bit of information she can in. I have always been the one kid in class that helped the rest of the class. I have done lots of tutoring and I love finding fun and different ways to help people learn.

  1. I think our own children can often be powerful inspirations to us as teachers. I know the natural curiosity and love for exploring that I see now in my own kids is something I don't want them to ever lose! I fear sometimes that "the school system" may beat them down and quash that passionate curiosity they have. I think it's great to be inspired by our children, and I'm glad you're already inspired by your daughter!

  2. I think it's amazing that you used ur daughter as a frame of reference to teaching!! I love the age when kids are picking up on everything because that means you never know whats going to come out of thier mouths!! That may possibly be one of the main reasons i'm so excited about becoming a teacher, you never know what kids are going to say or do, whether it be funny or something you never thought they could learn or much less remember!! Their mind are great at that age!! :)

  3. I love the age when kids are soaking in and regergitating all the info they can, becuase you never know what they will say. Whether it be something really funny or something you never thought they could learn let alone remember. I think thats one of the things i'm most excited about, seeing what kids can really do!

  4. I love that you used your daughter as an example as well! I love the age were kids are soaking and repeating everything they hear, because you never know what they will say wether its funny or something you never thought they could learn much less remember and tell you about it later! Thats one of the things I'm most excited about in teaching is the never ending things the kids will say, learn, and do!! :)
